Meet the Photographer

Hey, my name is harlee!

Before photography, I spent years as a broadcast journalist, crafting stories that made people feel something; joy, nostalgia, connection. I learned early on that the best stories aren’t the ones perfectly scripted; they’re the ones unfolding right in front of you. Now, I get to tell those stories visually with golden light, movement, and emotion instead of words on a teleprompter.

I was born and raised in Tulsa, and have been with my middle school sweetheart for 15 years, so I deeply understand what it means to grow up together, to weather the seasons, to celebrate the big and the small. I know that behind every photo is a story and every story deserves to be told with intention.

When you work with me, I’m not just showing up with a camera, I’m showing up as someone who values connection, who notices the in-between moments, who cheers you on like an old friend.

If you’re looking for someone who will capture your day exactly as it felt.. the laughter, the tears, the chaos, the calm. You’re in the right place.

My approach

My background in journalism taught me how to chase real moments; the kind that unfold naturally, the ones that make you feel something. I don’t just click the shutter; I watch, I listen, and I tell the story that’s happening right in front of me.

When I photograph your wedding or session, I’ll guide you when you need it, but mostly, I’ll let you be yourselves.

I want you to feel comfortable, grounded, and fully present like we’re just hanging out, and somehow, all your favorite memories end up documented in the process.

My editing style is warm, bold, and nostalgic filled with texture and feeling, like a memory caught on film. I want your photos to feel timeless, not trendy something you’ll still love 20 years from now.

At the end of the day, my approach is simple:

I care deeply. About your story, your experience, and how it all feels in the moment. Because photography isn’t just my job, it’s my favorite way to hold onto the things that matter most.
